Every year when the hurricanes hit, it's a mad scramble to fill cleaning buckets, make health kits and collect diapers and can food. Please join MERCI  in 2006 by helping to fill the warehouse with those items ahead of time! By the time August first rolls around, MERCI would like to have over 1000 cleaning buckets on hand as well as thousands of health kits, school kits, layettes, etc.. We are also seeking a trucking group to help us deliver, especially one that can go when needed. Starting in January, MERCI will be using a new custom made date base and needs volunteers who are willing to do some "office work".   Please join in 2007!

MISSIONS WORK TEAM

HURRICANE RECOVERY

April 5-12, 2008

Atmore, Alabama

Open to Churches of the Fayetteville District

Imagine people still in need of repairs from the devastation of hurricanes Ivan (9/16/2004), Dennis (7/11/2005), and Katrina (8/29/2005). Team members do not have to have special building skills, only a desire to serve. We are looking for people who will be ambassadors for Jesus Christ by ministering to others. We trust God will provide enough skilled team members to guide those of us who are willing to serve at their direction.

ONLY 15 spots available

Cost: $100-$125 plus meals during travel.

($50 deposit required to guarantee reservation)
